I don't want to order it, wait for it to come in, only to realize I need additional materials for the install because I only get 1 free day a week to work on my car!
If you are going for the Rydeen camera, I got mine from here:
http://www.al-eds.com/Rydeen-Mobile-...2239.html#tabs
No other parts where needed.
Shipping was fast and free too.
(Had mine on a sale a while ago for 99$)

That's definitely a better price if it's free shipping! THanks

Yes, and it'll probably also only work for 15 days before the cheap wiring craps out, or the camera can't handle the elements. There are times when it doesn't make sense to spend too much money for no reason, but this is one of those things where you get what you pay for.

It looks exactly like that Rydeen camera. I bet it is made by the same factory in China.

Its not.

At my shop we experimented with some cheap china cams since we already directly import certain other products.

With a Rydeen I can literally dunk the camera in a cup of water and it will still work, not one of the Chinese knock offs I tested could withstand this.

I got mine from this too. It's seen that they have increased the price since then.

What do you guys think about this camera?

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/BOYO-VTB123HD-Side-View-Camera/dp/B006SF69B0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383502292&sr=8-1&keywords=vtb123hd"]Amazon.com: BOYO VTB123HD Side View and Rear View Dual Use Camera: Car Electronics[/ame]

It's about half the price of the Rydeen and I've seen it on other BRZs with no issues reported, it also looks to have a better viewing angle and a much lower profile (albeit with a bigger hole required).

I thought someone did a DIY on a camera. I can't find the thread.
