EcuTek Tuning for Subaru BRZ & Scion FR-S by Circuit Motorsports
We just finished Pro-tuning a local BRZ 6mt, the car only has a drop in filter and a muffler delete, using 93 octane.

We achieved a 17 wheel horsepower and 12 ft/lbs. torque gain over the stock tune!
Stock: 174whp / 151wtq
Custom Tune: 191whp / 163wtq

also for Perrin's products they have a blog showing dyno and testing...

Your car put down 151 lb/ft of torque at the wheels bone stock? That's what the engine is rated stock at the crank how is that possible?

Every dyno reads differently.

@OP
No, I have not seen anyone with a built N/A FA20 yet. This may be an attractive option to some, but the vast majority are either going into Forced Induction or are doing engine swaps to bigger engines (like the LSx or 2JZ). The most popular method seems to be turbocharging, which is the route I plan on taking after my warranty expires (if I can wait that long).
Until someone brings some cams to market for the FA20, we will not see a built NA engine.

I'd love to see an NA build with mild/streetable cams, bolt-ons, and a good tune on 93 octane. I'd guess 210-215 whp would be achievable.

100HP per litre in stock NA form is already pretty amazing.
I wouldn't expect much more without hurting driveability.
They pretty much optimized this engine from the start.
Judging from others who addressed the usual intake and exhaust flow, there
Just isn't much more to squeeze out. Add cams and you will find some more ponies at the expense of streetable driveability, especially without a variable lift system.
Boost is the way to go with small displacement engines.. Way more HP for the money while maintaining good driveability.
