All balls, no boost
So I've been talking to a few buddies has anyone tried to get the most out of this motor without boost? And in doing so what are the numbers you've pulled on Dyno if you have examples examples!

Try this thing called "search"
|
If you look in the forced induction forum here, many have posted dyno charts which usually include stock base graphs.
Most are around 155-165. |
A forum member since April and you've not once come across a thread regarding naturally aspirated performance?...:sigh:

the only way to real power out of a 4 cylinder is with a turbo
|
I understand that by freeing up the intake and freeing up the exhaust, along with a tune, will allow the engine to produce a few more HP.

Stock: 174whp / 151wtq Custom Tune: 191whp / 163wtq http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47586 also for Perrin's products they have a blog showing dyno and testing... http://blog.perrinperformance.com/br...n-and-proving/ |
I'm pretty sure the OP is asking about a pure N/A build, with the FA20 engine, and with more than just a few Bolt-On's.
@OP No, I have not seen anyone with a built N/A FA20 yet. This may be an attractive option to some, but the vast majority are either going into Forced Induction or are doing engine swaps to bigger engines (like the LSx or 2JZ). The most popular method seems to be turbocharging, which is the route I plan on taking after my warranty expires (if I can wait that long). |
doesn't e-85 push it past 200 with a bolt on or two?
or does that not count |
