Drove my mother's 370z... I can't stand it now. Before the FR-S, it was amazing. Now it's just stale.

As a guy that drives a 328i and '13 Accord daily, this scares me.
Specially because the 328i is going away as down payment for my '14 BRZ. Personally I like my Accord for daily drive, because my drive involves basically 20-35 mins of driving in Austin traffic (look up worst traffic in cities in US). So I never get a chance to go over 30 mph. I do feel the difference when I take my 328i for a drive though. Accords are....amazing for what they were designed for. Point A to point B transportation that offers Safety, Reliability, Functionality and gas mileage. Excitement and any resemble to joy of driving is not part of the equation. |

However, great functional car, specially if you have 110 pound german shepherds that jump in and out of the car with huge nails. |

My FR-S is out of commission and driving the Prius. Find myself pumping air with my left foot here and there looking for the clutch!

I owned an STI with a heavily modified suspension, tuned for street use. Here's the thread:
http://www.iwsti.com/forums/suspensi...uspension.html I swore I would be buried in that car. I sold it after getting my BRZ. It just didn't feel as good to drive any more. I still miss it, but better in someone's hands who will drive it than to watch it rust away in the garage. |

I test drove my friend E36 M3. The clutch was just super heavy! The FR-S feels nimble and light, the M3 has a lot of grunt but you have to grab it a lot more than the FR-S would ever need.
Gotta say though, it's impossible to stall the M3, just let go of the clutch and the car will go on its own, no fuss, no burping and stalling. It was weird to see. Quite a difference experience! |

I have an FR-S and a BMW Z4M Coupe, so I'll make a comparison. Both cars are amazing, but the M feels so stiff in comparison. Stiff short shifting transmission, stiff fast catching clutch, heavier steering, and not as good of a driving position IMO. Both are razor sharp, but I like the easy feel of the FRS's clutch, shifter, and steering. I also find that with the Z4M I cruise slow like an old man. With the FR-S, I just want to rev it and push it.

Drove the LGT on Sunday after driving the BRZ for 3 weeks. Everything felt so off, the driving position, steering, the brakes, and overall ride. I can't believe how much I used to love driving it and thought it was a great handling car. Ugh. The only thing I kinda miss was the acceleration on the highway.
Damn you BRZ. |

I had a loaner Corolla for two weeks while the FR-S was in with the dreaded CEL. I wanted to crash it into a tree to be rid of it. Even the Toyota service advisor was like "I bet you hate that Corolla, eh?"
Don't get me started on my fiancée's Highlander. Feels like I'm driving an MRAP.
