In a heartbeat, yes. If I could trade straight up for a reasonable value

Other than that nope

Save your pennies. Rumor has it something might be in the works from Nissan. Mazda is looking to refresh their MX5's as well soon.

I would like to see a 240sx part two or a reintroduction of the Silvia name

Not worth it imo. I briefly considered, but decided to hold off and wait for 2014 Limited BRZ.

The colored badge doesn't add anything to me, same for the lighting inside. The BRZ still has navigation, nicer looking headlights, fog lights, semi-leather seats and most importantly, is still cheaper at $27k with change.

Would be really cool if they had a 2014 model for it.

If you don't like it, have it wrapped! You can choose almost any color and you will definitely (probably) be the only one with it!

EDIT: I saw a Series 10 tC and agree that it is not special enough to really be considered a "Special Edition" color, even if it does match fairly well with the glowing badges. I would have killed for a Bright Yellow or Baby Blue. I think some people would have just died if their special edition was a Panda color scheme.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's people buying the BRZ for the "features" so I don't think the resell on a base FR-S will be as good as the 10 Series FR-S.

Maybe go to your local dealer and check out a 10 Series FR-S to really see all of the features the car has just like the "AUTO light feature" not found on the base FR-S.

If I were the head of Scion, I'd spend the next five years dribbling out minor changes to the car, just knowing that a whole lot of FR-S/BRZ owners would trade just to have that fancy new knob on the dash the previous year doesn't. No real investment in real changes until they decide to either remake the car or drop it.

Oh I definitely agree that the 10 Series will have more resale value. I was just commenting on @njccmd2002's dislike of owning a popular color on a car.

Auto lights are one thing I miss about my last car. Biggest thing I miss were radio controls on the steering wheel (which had integrated CC as well). Sometimes I'm still pressing at phantom buttons on my wheel thinking they'll come back if I press hard enough.

HID's aren't a big deal for me. Dual climate controls are nice (probably the only reason I would consider the 10 Series), and push button is a nice little upgrade. What would have been nice are a unique set of wheels to go with the custom paintjob. And what a shafting that manuals still get the same shift knob and AT's get something unique. For me, this is not a special edition. They should have offered this from the factory as a upgraded trim, much like Subaru offers two trim levels.

Yep, those and also the Monkey butt red would have got my attention.
