Off topic, but what suspension are you running? Your car sits perfect!

Actually... if that happens the TSC is suppose to kick in and brake a little so the wheel on the ground will have traction... thats what mine does... but if I do the pedal dance the TSC wont turn on and do exactly what yours did.

Even if you have TSC off it shouldnt do that... only after doing the pedal dance your car wont do that.

Yeah, I would hope that they would have designed the TC/VSC to brake the lifted wheel in those situations to let the LSD work. But yes, I imagine you have to hold the throttle and let it spin a bit to activate. That's definitely the major disadvantage of a Torsen.

Mine acts almost immediately with flashing lights on the dash and the car jerks like hell like it is about to break something

For Scandinavian conditions, and the cars most people drive here, the Toybaru is below average on the following conditions:
Ice/packed snow: Suspension too hard, and the AT shifts too hard even in "snow" mode, AT must be manually locked in gear to avoid accidents around corners and up/down hills.
Loose snow/slush: Too low ride heigt, even at stock, floats and loses traction.

Conclusion: The Toybaru is not unusable in winter, but compared to most new Subarus and Toyotas sold here it is not a good winter car.

I will nonetheless enjoy driving my GT86 through the winter, and I will be constanly looking for empty, iced parking lots...
