This may help:

I have an Invidia catless front pipe with resonator with a stock cat back and an injen intake.
The front pipe was installed after the intake. I did not notice any difference (sound). I think the intake sound drowns out the front pipe.

Perrin Overpipe/Frontpipe/Catback here - I had the Catback by itself at first, and adding the Overpipe/Frontpipe to the mix definitely added some sound - in a good way!

I'll post before and after videos to see show the difference. My order from FT86speedfactory should be here next week sometime. If it's in before wednesday all my new add-ons will be in my car that same day.

I would take a look at the nameless catted over/front pipe with helmholtz resonator... Will get rid of any drone you may have and sounds awesome from what I've heard...

It may look like the better option due to the price, but the noise will get to you if you dislike rasp. Only really muffled systems with a good resonator can counter the missing cat in a front pipe while maintaining the stock header. It already gets pretty bad with a catless header and a catted front pipe aftermarket but you would be really surprised at how well that front pipe cat changes the tone on an exhaust.

It all really depends on how far you want to go, but a lot of catless front pipes with unresonated systems are nothing but god awful rasp while revving and throughout the gears.
