I may have been over driving the car, I am new at this .

I think I will start with 40psi cold in the fron next event and see if this is a better starting point.

Great to finally see these on a car. I've been rolling around the idea of getting them for awhile now, was wondering how they sat on the car. I think I'm finally sold. Thanks for being the test subject.

No, this car is on 100% stock suspension. The wheel gap looks to be gone in the picture above, that is just compressed suspension due to the left turn I am finishing.

I like simple setups like this. Looks really good. I might consider that same size. Do you have any plans for a drop?

No drop planned at this time. I want to keep it in the stock category for autocross at this time.

This is a possibility in the future. I do think the car looks better with a slight drop.

So, I ordered a set from tirerack, and they didn't say anything about hub centric rings, and I'm not sure of the hub dimensions. Do they require them?

Thanks for the pics and the info - especially weights. This is one of the rims I'm considering for my GBS.

Those are the wheels that I want. Just under 15lbs each. I was thinking of going with the Continental DWs with stock tire size. It would be a 34lb per corner setup. They're pretty good lightweight summer tires, I have them on my RSX. My RSX has RPF1 17x7 +45 but it's 5 x 114 bolt pattern, so they won't work. Gonna have to sell them cause the RSX is gonna be the winter beater car now.

Seeing how the offset is -6 per corner from stock, would this cause premature wear on the wheel bearings? Shouldn't mess with the suspension geometry right?

I'm going to contact Enkei tomorrow and see if the PF01 centercaps fit in the RPF1s.
Has anyone tried Toyota cenercaps to see if they fit the RPF1s? My Acura centercaps fit perfectly in the RPF1s, but I know Enkei makes most of Honda's / Acura's wheels. I'm just not a fan of the open center.

I just called Enkei and apparently the difference between the RPF1 and PF01 cenerbore is 4mm, so no the PF01 centercaps won't fit unfortunately Gonna have to figure out a way to make it look nice and clean without the hole in the center.

Anything ever come out for caps? Tire rack offers some, but they look pretty bad.
