I'd advise to read and become familiar about high compression motors before making any more posts about their relation to boost. You might get some unwanted heat for it.

I humbly submit that boost pressure is only valid for comparison on otherwise identical setups (turbo, intake plumbing, head, cams...). Comparing boost pressure from different compressors doesn't tell you that much. Some turbos flow a lot more at a given intake psi than others. What matters, imho, is peak combustion chamber pressure, and I don't know of a good way to measure it, although people smarter than me can calculate it with a bunch of assumptions.
Regardless, I like this turbo position, it's the first one I thought of when I started looking at pictures of the engine bay and underside of this car before you could even buy one in the US. There are of course concerns about heat, notice they have a blanket over the exhaust housing? Would love to see some pictures of the exhaust plumbing installed. Time and testing will tell. It looks promising though! |

I tell you what... go look and read Don's thread about the Turbo kit build and see WHAT HE says. He is building with reliability and the consumer in mind. Im sure most of these other shops are aiming for the same thing as their reputation is on the line. We all know that high HP is nothing if you can only start it and go a mile with it then have to build it again. Good job to all these shops and their turbo "pissing match" hahahaha lol

Question, would the factory braces still fit on the car with the kit? pictures show the braces removed in the engine bay, and what about a strut tower bar?
