Was tuned on a ProEFI Pro48 ecu ran in parallel configuration. still think 8 psi is to much unless your rebuilding the bottom end.

would love to see a copy of the dyno sheet with the tq!!
300hp is perfect! that is what I want! What rpm does full boost come online? also how is the clutch holding up?

That is some damn fine engineering. Not a huge fan of the turbo location and the hot pipe crossing the tb/cold pipe like that but what ya gonna do. Any pics from below?

We dont have a torque reading since we were unable to get a rpm pick up we had to do pulls by mph. We did test on a mustang dyno, ill see what the numbers were on it when I get a chance.

Heck, my sx4 has a 10 psi turbo kit that guys have been running for over 4 years with no issues on the engine part. being a true econobox it says a lot, especially with 10.5:1 comp ratio. now, the brz has 12.5:1, BUT, it has direct injection also, which negates some of that compression ratio since you reduce the chance of detonation. and also seeing as subaru designed this engine with the next gen impreza sti turbo set-up in mind, I'm sure it can take 8 psi no problem properly tuned. nice kit guys, any plans on a 91 tune also for ppl that don't have access to 93 or 94? |
