yeah but the centercaps with those wheels have a huge VW logo on them and if you pull the logo off they look really ugly, chrome lug nuts would be better. Ill end up getting these but probably not for a few weeks till I really need to run winter tires.

This is true. You could just paint over the VW logo.
I'll probably use these. My buddy owes me a favor as has a set sitting. I figure I'll use them as my favor and buy some cheap 205-60-15 snow tires.

You think those chrome nuts will work as far as the R12 vs R13 thing?

Thanks for the help and post btw

please update this thread as you put all 4 wheels on.
I also want to use 15 inch wheels.
with a slightly different purpose.... i want 15x8 wheels with 225/45/15 Toyo R1R ... for better gearing ratio.

I will definitely update when I put these on for winter, as long as we can figure out if the lug nuts will work.

Not sure how well 15x8 will work, you will probably need a pretty crazy offset as some people were saying they had rubbing on the inside with the steering knuckle IIRC. Either way if you do it before me let us all know how they go!
