How do you know? I've seen these cars with 18x10's on it, and bigger. You should actually look back there.

Show cars suck unless they have some function to back it up. Otherwise, you might as well just take the stock wheels off, lay some 44 gal drums over and put them over the brakes. Check out the stance brah!

Do you understand how much power you would need to make a 10.5" wheel relevant?

LOTS more than any aftermarket company is currently producing. A 10.5 with no stretch is like a 295-305. I guarantee that 99.9999% of the people who own this car will -never- make enough power to -need- a tire that size. To say that this size was -needed- is silly.

Actually you will need a 10.5 wide wheel to house a 305 wheel pretty quickly if you run a turbo kit. If you run anything north of 400rwhp I promise you will need at least a 285 tire to keep that down.

AP, P&L and Crawford have all made well past 400 wheel, needing a tire that wide, and they arent stopping there.

It's just a preference that some owners will have to make these cars with a very aggressive stance.

Doubt it requires that nasty camber, I don't like it either. I prefer flush fitment myself. You don't think im about performance? I'm the one defending wide rear tires to hook up high hp.

With FBM already exceeding 500rwhp, you bet you'll need a 10.5 wide wheel.

Im a straight line kinda guy,but you are right that a wide wheel will hinder performance for a circuit course. Most people wont see more than a 18x9 wheel in the rear, while some who will drag these cars will need a 18x10.5.
