Ok first post. I've been lurking here and just have to say. Even on low chance someone has happened upon this information, just reading this post got my heart going. Can't wait until November.

I'm not counting on it until an official announcement. Having written that, please be true.

As I'm predicting...

around 1150kg ~ 1200kg.... maybe 1250kg for leather clad specs.

Also, I've browsed through some japanese sites, and the center of gravity for the FT-86 is about 470mm from the ground...

There are 2 high profile production sports cars with that center of gravity, 1 is from Ferrari the other is from Porsche....

Sounds promising but I wish there was more proof though...

I agree with you but I am really trying hard not to get excited this time. At least not until we know MSRP AND the exact weight.

Oh, and welcome to the forum.

Well if this is true, that's one out of three things on the check list...

Now for HP/TQ, redline, and price...

Even if this number is 100 % true it does not tell us that much. What are these 1160 kg? Dry Weight? Curb Weight? EU Weight (Curb Weight + 75 kg)?

"I am hopping for 1160 kg (EU), this would give us a Curb Weight of 1085 kg, then adding STI CF roof, hood, trunk, doors, Lexan windows, stripping out airbags, changing to lightweight japanese forged rims, bucket racing seats, there is possiblity of gettering under 1000 kg, and with and engine kit getting up to 250 PS. Now that is something very serious."

I can keep dreaming until Tokyo.
