Jasper,
Let me know what happens. I recently got my FR-S back from Camelback Toyota/Scion for the same reason (chirping) After 300 miles the chirping is back

they aren't telling everyone the lemon law part....
but they are covering their asses. You waive your rights to any legal actions in the future concerning that particular vehicle.

They'd have to compensate me a lot more than a month's car payment for me to waive ANY future legal action for that particular vehicle.

It's messy either way. Trust me no one in here is dumb enough to do that for just one payment, that's why there are disclaimers and release forms

Maybe I misunderstood. You're basically saying that once your vehicle is fixed, and compensation is agreed upon, they will make you sign a waiver releasing Scion/Subaru of any future legal actions, REGARDLESS of the issue? I certainly hope that's not the case, as I'm supposed to get my car back next Tuesday and by then, it will have been in the shop for exactly 31 days...

How are you guys going about elevating your issues and receiving a case manager? I have an unresolved issue that I need to elevate and don't know yet what path to take.
Thanks

On the Scion website there is a live chat I used that and they gave me a number to call and they assigned me a case manager

There is nothing wrong with calling them in regards to any issue. The more people that report any problem the more likely they will be to tsb or recall if needed.

not true at all. if your car has to spend time in the dealership you can be compensated. i am currently in the final stages of it all and soon will be compensated for my troubles which are DRL's, chirp, tapping noise, rattle under shifter and they scratched my paint.

they calculate how long your car is out of your hands. i will find out what i will be compensated when i fax a car payment to them.

They never told me a word about not discussing it. Weird on how they treat this stuff so different person to person

If you file a complaint with scion USA there is a chance you will be compensated some get free months of payments others their warranty compt others get a gas card or gift card some get nothing it is a case by case basis I guess were not supposed too say what we got but they never told me that when I was compensated.

Lemon Law Release

The release is related to the specific problem addressed and resolved by the dealer. If the owner was in any way compensated for a particular problem, that would not preclude invoking the "lemon law" for another unrelated issue.
