Without looking into it at all it would be HIGHLY unusual for that small stock engine to be loud enough at WOT to be heard 1/2 mile away. Automakers don't have the balls to do that anymore these days (at least with anything smaller than a V8).

disconnect that sound generator crap unless youre in high school...want your car to sound good, get a real exhaust system.
