I would pull the wheel to remove the possibility that the noise he mentioned is indeed something rubbing. Isolating the hub will make it easier to hear if actually a bearing issue. Also give a chance to check it isn’t a brake or dust shield that is out of place.

ahh okay thanks for the input will definitely be considering that if i ever want to upgrade the arms. but i’m just going to continue to run OEM parts for now

On the hub I would take it off and feel it. If it is early damage you will have a better chance of feeling the damage over hearing it. It should be smooth as you rotate it if you feel any roughness I would replace.
