A few of you inquired to the 'exact' parts list to make what we did so here it is:

1-My Extended Custom Finished Pipe w/Grommet
1-Spectre 8791 Black 3" Low Profile 90° Elbow Boot with 2.5" Insert and Band Clamps
1-Spectre 8771 Black Intake Tube Coupler and Band Clamps
1-Spectre 9405 Air Flow Sensor Mount Tube
1-OBX Heat Shield (EBay)
1-You'll need to make Custom Brackets if you decide to use the OBX Heat Shield, just buy an aluminum strip, hack saw it, drill holes, and bend it with your hands appropriately. Look at my pictures.
1-Air Filter, cheapest cost, and pretty decent quality is the Spectre Performance 8136

All Spectre parts can be bought at Summit Racing, free shipping, next day delivery.

Also all of these parts except the head shield are available on Amazon if people prefer that for any reason(I get points back using my Amazon credit card:P).

For the heat shield I only found a single person on ebay that officially sells them from OBX.

Thanks again to Brian for his great work!

The OBX heat shield from TuningDepot/EBay (only a few left) is made of frickin' heavy duty solid stainless steel. It's quite awesome! Not of that cheap crap. It also fits the Spectre filter prefectly. Did you see it on my car, the blue one? Can't see the filter, totally protects it and CAI from stock intake location except reverse mount of intake shield where on the right side, you can see the blue. On TBBandit's car, you can see a little of the red panty line showing. All he would have to do is push the heat shield from drivers side of car towards CAI and the aluminum bracket we made will bend. Lots of options!

Note: I ran without the heat shield for over a week with no CEL issues. The heat shield IS NOT REQUIRED! It's optional. However, it does help. The key is the pipe and sum of parts to tuck the air filter half way into the front of the stock airbox. Less heat to filter/engine bay, more air volume from front bumper and dispertion of colder air.

On another note. And I'm not comparing product or quality or anything. Just sound. The sound of our intake is so much louder and angrier sounding than that posted regarding the Airraid. Both are dramatically different sounds. I like ours, it's meaner sounding and louder.

FYI -

I have one lightly used K&N filter and custom bracket that will hook right up to the MAF Adapter->Long Pipe I designed for that individual that might be interested.

I don't need it, have too many parts laying around!

All 3 videos posted. This is what a 'mean' intake sounds like on a Subaru BRZ!
