Do people really leave their manuals in neutral when they park? I didn't even know that was a thing, but then again I'm super paranoid and would never even think about depending on a thin fragile wire to protect my car from rolling to it's demise.

best thing to do is to pull your E-brake and stop as soon as it gets tight, and leave it in gear, this way your not putting too much pressure on the E-brake or transmission

Rule # 1, always leave it in gear when parking.
Rule # 2, always use your e-brake when parking.

for years I always ebrake park. But I generally park on flat surface. If inclined I place in gear.


Weird.. I live in Tx btw
