I'd rather have 2-3mm of washers than a bashed skid plate or a bunch of NVH from harder motor mounts.

It wouldn't be a "bashed" skid plate ....... it would be a custom molded skid plate ........

Depends on how the twist affects the fit of other hardware. Considering the relatively short distance between the main axis to the engine mount, 2-3mm lift at one side will rotate the engine enough to be noticeable at the outer corners. OP should look carefully for interference.

I think I'd be more comfortable with lifting both sides but that's just a guess.

Thanks for feedback. I can't decide between the sti mounts or the perrin mounts. I've heard good things about both

Perrin uses a non-standard fastener and the included thin washers collapse easily.

I don't know much about the sti mounts except that a friend who had perrins switched to the sti.

I prefer rubber for most bushings and OE manufacturing processes.

They use a firmer rubber than the stock bushings. I installed the sti trans mount at the same time, and took a couple of pictures next to the stock parts. Engine movement has been significantly reduced and shifting improved.

Thanks. I've been seriously considering them to cut some of that annoying windup.

I may have misspoken. Engine and diff mounts are too damn squishy for me. Feels like I'm driving an old mattress.
