Ugh Bing....Also they more than likely will get stolen. It's better to make a cheap wood ramp and Rino line the underside of the lip.

It's just an example, he could make them out of anything cheap or buy something nice and bring it in at night, relax haha. btw.... Bing has the best image search tools online by kind of a wide margin. Best tool for the job beats brand loyalty every time, that's why I bought a FR-S.

Where along the driveway are you scraping?
And are you entering at an angle of at least 45 degrees?
From what I see, you can easily go up from the left side and park on the right.
I have to enter my driveway and exit the same way to avoid scraping. I just make a quick u-turn every time I need to go to the other direction.
If you aren't 3 wheeling, your technique is probably wrong.

I'm used to it by now, except people routinely blow through the stop sign at the top which is only two houses up...will probably get t-boned eventually

I've tried various angles/approaches...I think exactly once there was no scrapes but I haven't been able to do it again, lol. Unfortunately it's a duplex and the right side is the neighbors.

I need to go out at like 2:00AM and go in and out a bunch or something...hard to do during normal hours 'cause we're right over the blind side of the hill and people frequently ignore the stop sign.

Think I'll get my wife to stand in the driveway and mark where I'm hitting with some chalk, might give me an idea of a better angle that'd be somewhat consistent.

anything "substantial" that you could add could have the negative benefit of damaging the driveway, which is even worse. I agree with the spray on truck bed liner. And maybe a camera for the road if people run the stop sign that much, that way if someone does hit you there will be proof.

That's a good idea. Could put one inside above the garage door and get power from the ceiling where the opener does...just drill a small hole for the lens.

How wide is the sidewalk by your driveway? Might be able to pull onto sidewalk, then back in? That's how I have to get my FRS in the shop at work.

It's actually almost 10 feet wide, and that would totally work except that there is a metal box full of Comcast wires in exactly the wrong place.

Even when I'm not a Comcast customer they still find a way to screw me, lol.

It was half a joke. Lift spacers probably are cheaper/simpler way to do it, if just rising ground clearance is the goal. They usually are of different height, 1/4", 1/2", 1", 1.5" .. bit i guess >1" there might issues similar to overlowering to appear, adding need to fix changed suspension geometry, relocate diff and like that ..

Meh, I say leave it. Think of it as an exercise in "letting go."
