Exactly how big is that logo, that it might not fit?

I love the FRS growl on the TRD exhaust. Where is it created in the exhaust? Can someone explain it for me? Please?

Just driving today on way to get coffee and like 3 consecutive people commented on it. Got me thinking.
The growl is created in the combustion chamber(s) when the spark makes the fuel and air mixture go ...... POW .......

If this question gets asked to a new Bimmer owner then one can just point at the speakers.

@Packofcrows I agree with Tcoat and Cole about the many factors that contribute to the sound of an exhaust system (not the least of which is engine layout/design).

I think in this case though, A lot of it comes down to the design of the muffler, and the tips (being shaped somewhat like a megaphone, I think the tips do account for some of that sound).
The muffler and tips are the only TRD parts left on mine. The front pipe is a catted and resonated Nameless piece, and from there to the muffler is a custom mandrel bent 2 1/2" pipe with an 18"X4" Magnaflow round muffler in-line as a secondary resonator. It still sounds like a TRD system, with that lovely Grrr/Purr sound...just more of it.

Oh I don't know if Scion would authorize Toyota to put their parts on Scion cars.

I don't know if the story just comes from a press release but I have read a couple of times of VW and Mercedes tuning the sound of their doors closing. That is, they are tuned to close with a particular reassuring thud.

I've watched a video on YouTube where a Ford rep mentioned about this before. IIRC the additional cost of a nice thud is about 4 bucks more per door.

Does Ecutek offer tuning options for the doors?

You can always tune it the old fashion way.

The GM automated door tuning system seems to work well.
