Ive done quite a few dashcam installs in the past so I got out the normal fuse tap and buck converter to do my new BRZ. I had no idea that the car had 12v switched power way in the back of the glovebox until I stumbled on this thread. What a time saver, this is hands down the best way to install a dash cam. Thanks for the writeup. Easiest dashcam install Ive ever done.
