Hmm he might be right but I am on FA500's with swifts as well and even on my race slicks the car is perfectly balanced IMO
edit: isn't their stock recommended ratios 6k front and 7k rear? |

Dude mentioned using a larger front sway, probably to compensate for the rates.

I might be bumping them up to stiffer spring rates soon. :/

Stop worrying about fine tuning the setup and making changes. Get an alignment and sort out the noises because your setup isn't anything aggressive and shouldn't cause any issues if everything was installed properly.

+1 get it aligned, have every nut and bolt tightened, solve problems one by one before 'refining'.
Wheel rub is caused by offset, ride height, or wrong size wheel/tire, the ride height you posted seems reasonable, your spring rates should be stiff enough and the wheel/tire specs are in the ballpark of what's known to fit. You should be able to bolt up any wheel that fits and not have any noticeable change in the rest of your suspension setup, no new clunks or behaviors not associated directly with the change in tire (steering feel, grip, response, etc.) The only thing that could be going on is if the wheels weren't balanced right? Might be worth having the shop check. |
