I heard the brz was going to be AWD for the new generation. Subaru is trying to make it more "theirs" to fit with their other cars.

Well now Hum you are obviously not a Simpsons fan to not get his reference.
No idea how close you were except there was no fancy store bought Gerbers. I would have to crawl to the garden, pick my own peas, mush them up, whittle my own stick and then eat.

Love to spoon feed info when it can be done but but didn't think I could do a great job of summarizing 3 years of info on the car.

Give it a shot though:
Most of the issues have fixes
Still has crickets
Been a bunch of special editions
Scion is dead
The 17s are as ugly as sin but have some doodads

Yes and now that the FRS is a Toyota instead of a Scion the quality will be much better.

Ya got me on the Simpsons reference ....... I had no idea ......

On eating out of the garden, I'm surprised they let you have a sharp knife .......

Yep, I remember ..... stopping the tractor at the garden, on my way out to the fields, plucking a vine ripe cantaloupe, cutting it up with my pocket knife, dousing it with salt chowing down and watching the sun rise through the summer haze ......

Luxury. I used to have to get out of the lake at three o'clock in the morning, clean the lake, eat a handful of hot gravel, go to work at the mill every day for tuppence a month, come home, and Dad would beat me around the head and neck with a broken bottle, if I was LUCKY!

(see if anyone else gets that reference)

But you try to tell that to young people today and they won't believe you.
