There needs to be a nice weekend/track day option for me to weigh in.

Since when is $26k too expensive for a sports car? It's the same price as a Miata with more power and a roof... Sports cars are supposed to be spartan - that is the entire point...

Nope. My forester gets daily duties. For a while the BRZ was my only car, but then I picked up this forester for cheap. Makes for a better winter driver and I don't mind if it gets scratched really.

I was personally considering a older forester, or impreza wagon as a DD.. They don't get that great of gas mileage for me to heavily consider it.

Mine is an 09 X manual and it gets about 28 reliably on winter tires. I'm sure it will do the same if not better once I put on the BRZ take offs and some nice all seasons. I had an 01 auto before this and it wasn't too bad either, mid 20's. Until the engine blew a head gasket....and then started knocking after that repair.... lol. |

I've put close to 30k on it just in the summer, I "daily road trip" in this car. In 60k+ I've only had the TOB go out
Spartan? It has A/C and Bluetooth what more do you need? |

I'm another "atypical" on the forum. We make the short daily commute to work in the BRZ year round but we tend to drive the "adult" car (aka the "Wifemobile") on weekends and long trips. It's an AWD wagon with comfy seats, a great audio system and a trailer hitch. The BRZ rolled over 20,000 km last night after 31 months. The Wifemobile has that many in 9 months.

I could not live with the FRS in day to day traffic in Houston so I have an auto (DSG) for that. Had the FRS for about 5 months, think I've put 400 miles on it so far and it's only seen rain once. First track day this weekend, looking forward to spending some quality time with her.

I daily the car, except in wintry conditions. Have the old trusty rusty '96 Explorer for those days
I may look at adding an AWD DD later down the road, depending on future plans with the BRZ. |

Where is the "Fuck Ya" category on the poll?
So far have had a low year and a bit and have only done about an average of 3,800 miles a month. This is down over my usual 4,000+. The outside looks like hit by a bomb blast and the inside looks like a New York taxi cab. Four more years and it will be replaced with another car to destroy.
