I have a backup car as well...but even if i didnt it is a new car that the manufacturer is required by law to provide a temp/rental car...so its not like you are actually out a car. Maybe im just used to dealing with older cars that have real/significant problems that actually prevent the car from being driven and are not covered by any warranty...i have always seen that as being part of owning a car.

What was done on the first service? Has the oil been changed yet since you bought the car?

Will keep you guys posted! And NO our baby is only barely 550 miles young and only Shell with V-tech because we are in SoCal!!

The solenoid / oil control valve. I'm at 6600 miles so far so almost 1000 miles since my fix and all is well.

Update on CEL/SL Dyno...

3rd Gear by QFry, on Flickr[/IMG] Run 1 with CEL/SL and in 3rd, Run 3 without CEL/SL in 3rd

4th Gear by QFry, on Flickr[/IMG] Run 2 with CEL/SL in 4th, Run 4 without CEL/SL in 4th.

Conclusion...the CEL/SL is doing nothing to alter the cars performance power wise. Thanks @virtual_bob at Drift Office for the great service! Now its time to give the car up to the dealership...

Edit: Corrected image URL and here is a bonus pic!
