I'm hoping its just temporary fuel, fan, lights and ignition switches and nothing driver aided like VSC.

As long as it can be turned off I don't see what's so bad about VSC. It lowers your insurance rates if anything.

Awesome pic hachi!

For anyone thinking the shifter is too short...you know it's an automatic right?

I hope the toggle switches have to be set off sequentially to turn the engine off

Edit: I'm sure I speak on behalf of anyone who's owned an MR2....thank god the handbrake is on the correct side.

The question is, does it look driver oriented? Ala supra, s2k, etc.

If that is the case, I would prefer it being a button instead of a toggle. It just looks more clean IMO.

But in modern sport-oriented cars VSC is often offered with at least 3 settings: Normal (intervenes at the slightest sign of sliding), Sport (less aggressive than Normal but still saves your butt when the sliding goes way out of hand) and OFF.

And now I just came up with something that the 4th toggle switch can be used for... the adjustment of throttle response maybe? Remember that this car is meant to be both a daily driver and a track toy so it makes sense to offer flexible settings like these.

It can still be a button (SPTT) to cover all 3 then.

When the mirror is door mounted, the mirror mounting would block a window from going down, so they have to have a little triangle thing to keep that section of the window stationary.

As for why door-mounted vs on the pillar, it's for a couple reasons. First is ideal mirror placement. As you make the windshield more raked, the a-pillar is pushed further up front. If you have the mirror on the a-pillar, it can be positioned too far forward, which is bad for ergonomics/visibility.

On the visibility note, when having it on the a-pillar, you'd have a big black triangle in place of the triangle glass. Door mounted mirrors tend to be better aerodynamically.

Ok so yeah....those side mirrors gtg asap that big of a mirror is absolutely unnessary. I would have to figure out how to put another cars mirror on there if thats what we get stuck with. As for the interior. I hate the way the center stack looks. Idk I guess I've grown attached to the celica center stack that has a smooth transition like the avensis.

I actually love that angular center stack transition--to me it's a throwback to cars from the late 80s, and the AE86.

What a short shift knob, then again its an automatic prototype. Those paddles look..useless. Like Gen Coupe's paddles they're way too small, they're like buttons not paddles. ;/

Then again is it just me or on the other picture the right paddle looks different than the left paddle. Maybe this is a manual and the paddles are there to throw us off o.o i mean compare them in the first post the shot if the interior from the right shows a bigger paddle than the left side. In the second better interior pic.

Both sides look the same to me. Can you guys tell if the paddles are fixed to the wheel or the column?

Those switches could also be for the windows, fog lights, locks, etc. Overall, the stack kind of reminds me of a Mini, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you feel about the Mini's interior.
