Are you a big fan of them? I have frameless on the Z and like it for the most part but have had 2 minor issues. Some pressurized car washes are strong enough to get water inside the seal, which is fun. The second is the auto adjust of the glass when the door closes. It's pretty neat but sometimes if you roll the window down turn the car off and open the door in a certain order it gets outsmarted. Just have to turn the key again though.

I still hate the little triangle glass above the mirror... don't see why the window is not 1 piece of glass.

Not particularly. But that's a minor thing. Only debating right now if that saves any weight or not.

The cener stack looks GT-R esque. Not sure how I feel about that.

One thing I hate about frameless windows is they get off track easier and also after a while you have the window half down it will eventually rattles. Frames keep the window in check in all positions and doesn't sound like shit when closing the door when it's half way down.

My Cobra is frameless and my Subaru were frameless and I hate it. The high pressure wash thing irritates me to no end. The door and windows need constant adjustments on frameless.

I haven't had any rattle issues in the Z (at 1/2, 1/4, or all the way down) and the door still sounds pretty solid so far so hopefully there's a way to address it. I cannot stand rattling though.... was my major beef with the tC roof.

Well the one thing I have faith is, because of the triangle window and small frame. The window should not have these issue going up and down It will keep it on track and not allow any wiggle room to wear out the window mechanism everytime you close the door. I hate triangle windows too, our Suzuki SX4 AWD had them, Cost me an extra $40 to tint those damn things.

I think it has more to do with the individual design rather than being a flaw inherent to all frameless door windows. I never had a problem with them on my 10 year old Celica . However, the framed door windows in my '96 Civic (which was only 5 years old at the time) got off track constantly. To the point where I left the interior door panels off so I could put them back on track.

It has a striking similarity to the MR2 Spyder which had the best driving position among other cars I've driven daily (the last Celica, MR2 Turbo, G35). That car's shifter/seat/wheel layout was PERFECT... the only car I could drive for hours straight without feeling restless.

I wonder if the seats are like the "super-thin" ones in the MKI? They looked nice and lightweight, but I doubt they offered much support.

So this is the Tiptronic Auto we're looking at..... i think those paddles on the steering wheel look pretty good.

My initial thoughts were go for the 6 Speed Manual, but if it turns to out to be like the E46 M3; the SMG gearbox car is quicker 0-60. I'd probably have this paddle setup as long as it isn't too expensive an option and the performance is at least as good as the manual if not better.

Moving on....those passenger mirrors look HUGE from inside the car! Almost the same size as the steering wheel lol

It does look like you sit very low.... but could it be that the car is actually quite small inside? This would explain why the mirror looks so big and also why that passenger side air vent looks so big.

This looks too good for a mule interior if you ask me. I think we're looking at the production interior here covered up.

The centre vents remind me of the ones on the MK1 concept interior.

What's with the blue scuff plates in the doors? That just looks awful Proper 'Rice'..... hope we don't see this on the production car in this colour.

I just noticed your mirror comparison with the steering wheel- WOW they're huge. I'm confident that they won't make it to production since they appear to be sort of snapped on.

I don't expect a SMG transmission in this car. Would be nice, but doubtful at the projected price. The paddles are probably just for an electronically controlled auto.
