More then quadruppled filtration area? Should be less resistive. Hmm, though then again it's fabric vs filter paper, no clue how they fare against each other. Maybe more filtration area is almost completely offset by more airflow resistance of used material.

I know the header makes the most significant boost NA, going zero-65 mph so there isn't any short changing that part. Other parts are minimal change in performance, 2-6 hp/torque. On top of that, if I am changing out 3-4 bolt on intake/exhaust parts , then it sounds worth while to also get some basic tune after parts are installed to maximize performance benefits (tune for more hp , or mpg , etc)

Anyone know what the best performing single exit exhaust for the 86 is?
Right now I'm using the HKS Racing single exit, want to see if there's any better performing. Sound noise isn't an issue, chasing max power. I'll be changing to ACE header next year, either the A250 or the Anaconda 42.7mm. |

93 octane. tuner told me that i could easily get 200+ whp with e85 but theres no pumps around me unfortunately.... or i would jump right on it lol.
the biggest kicker was the tune. i drove on that setup for a few hundred miles (clearing the P0420 every time it came up lol!) and once i got it tuned it was like night and day difference |
