On another note I'm looking at getting these wheels powdercoated for next year. Currently I'm thinking the advan racing gold with the currently white machined areas black
(It would be going on a wrb brz) does any one have any objections or think I'm crazy?

I don't think the black/gold would look that good together, but of course that's a personal opinion. I'm all for coating them with the rest of the wheel or leaving them bare/polished.

How did you find out the import fee for these wheels? Did you get notification, or did they just tell you at time of delivery? Mine are supposed to deliver on Thursday, December 11, 2014.

If UPS, you can call them with the tracking number and ask them what the fee is...

It was $24.xx for each for me, and that's 2 wheels per package. Well, the first set came last week, the other 2 should arrive tomorrow. Guess they got separated or some bullcrap.
Oh, and 1010tires told me that UPS would contact me about the fee. Nah, they just showed up and I made sure to have my checkbook handy. A call ahead would have been nice, I could have left the check with our front desk and not had to skip lunch.
