why does it have two valve stem openings? lol

tahdizzle 04-22-2014 01:41 PM

probably the same reason why Koseis have 2 valves.

one standard and one nitrogen

SkAsphalt 04-22-2014 02:05 PM

Some race teams run dual valves for speed and something else..but basically it helps crews do their jobs faster

Great looking addition. Love the tech, price, size, offsets and weights. Nice find!

gtf2s look pretty similar to enkei gtc01rr. no eighteen inch on the gtf1s?

SO these guys are creating a low pressure zone in the cast to elongate the alloy without adding air bubbles? I'm not understanding the science behind their new process. Wouldn't this cause the wheel to become more brittle under impact?

[Some race teams run dual valves for speed and something else..but basically it helps crews do their jobs faster ]

One valve: air hose
One valve: air pressure gauge

these wheels are gorgeous though

2 valve stems also helps in properly purging all air from the tires when filling with nitrogen I've herd.. put nitrogen in on top, and open up the bottom to release the air.

Air is 70% Nitrogen, so you're effectively replacing air with air!

If anything, I could see it used to standardize air pressure across tires on the same side of the vehicle. Connect an air hose between a nipple on the front and rear, then use the other to add or remove air. Still, gimmicky.

Either way if they make the GTF1 in a Gunmetal color sign me up for a set of 17x9! Hope these fit.
