To be completely honest I think MT is superior to AT, and anyone who drives AT has no idea how to drive a car the truest of ways.

How do you feel about 13K redline motorcycle engines "cruising" at 6.5K RPM?

Is "people motors" a Chinese auto company?

I'm 55 and I've never heard that old saying. "Old" is just what it is.

I'm sure we have a lawyer here. What are the chances of a class-action suit against Toyobaru for shit engines being prematurely worn by operating at 4500 RPM?

I took the fun road to my sisters, spent most of the time between 4 and 5k RPM in third and fourth. The only meaningful "extra wear" was to brake pads, rotors, clutch and tires.

IMO the car sounds like ass at 4K. Resonates like it’s ready to throw a rod through the block. 4K in an S2000 sounds cool. Not on the FA20 though.
Sounds like you are projecting, and "you bought the wrong car" if you hate it so much.

No one in this thread has ever said they don't wear. Other than you. If your engine is rotating, check the engine mounts ASAP.

On the other car, the revs will be kept at 4,000 rpms.

At the end of the experiment, your tear the engines down and inspect for wear.

Which one will show the most wear ...... or will they be the same .....??

Assuming the were both broken in and driven the same, the measurements would be so close as not to matter. I'm assuming oil and filter changes.

Ermax needs to give us his definition of "cruising" and "extra wear".
