However, is it normal for the anodize to wear from the belt ribs? Are the grooves cut into the pulley cut with a specific tolerance?
Glad to hear your car is doing well.

And yes, anodizing does eventually wear away a little where the belt rides. This should not affect the performance of the pulley.

Hopefully the throttle response helps a little at the track!

Best of luck!

I got my 7 piece kit yesterday, I can't wait to get it on the car this weekend. In the mean time here are some quick pictures with the weights of the new ones

I installed the idler, tensioner and water pump pulleys today. The tensioner pulleys are actually heaver then stock, but I don't know how much of the mass rotates/if the bearing has less resistance. The net weight for the idlers and tensioners is about the same as stock.

Install tips:

The Tensioner pulley is held on with Blue threadlocker. So I will need to re-do it.
Don't use the dust cover washers, they will defiantly bind.
Don't use size adapters on your breaker bar, you will sheer the adapter off.

I probably missed it but is there a list of torque specs for all of the pulleys somewhere?

A few pointers again:

Snap Rings should face OUT
Dust Covers NOT necessary
Slightly more than hand tight, apx 30 lbs ft, torque spec on accessory pulleys

Please be sure to use good judgment/common sense when attempting DYI!

Don't want to burst your bubble but the idler pulleys need to be made of a much harder material otherwise the belt will create a groove in it over time!

Thank you for the concern. We have built quite a few of these pulleys and they all seem to be doing fine. We'll be keeping a close eye on them and will update anything if testing shows a real world need to do so. So far, so very good.

For anyone else who may be thinking along the same lines, please note: NonStopTuning has designed and manufactured pulleys like these for over a decade now, has hundreds of pulleys in its catalog of offerings, and has served thousands of customers across the globe. In addition, NST offers a great warranty program and less than once percent of all customers have ever required service.

Thank you all, best of luck with all your projects!
