Would I rather have had a nicer car, hell yeah but at the time it was not in the cards. It is now!

I am 18 now but i got my BRZ limited 2 months after I turned 17. But this is my 5th car

1986 Monte Carlo SS (still own), 1991 Trans AM GTA, 1988 Mustang GT, 1995 Ford F250 w/ 351 Windsor, 2013 BRZ Limited.

How I went from a go fast v8 to a 4 cylinder I am still trying to figure that one out.

I slightly miss reading the FJ forums. I still browse it but am not as big into 4 wheeling as I am into fast driving..

the average age over there had to be 30. here it's got to be 19.

Y thank ya, there, @trevorovert ..... I enjoy reading about the adventures of new drivers; it keeps me young at heart ....

A new thread ..... YES! Maybe we could call it the "back in the day thread" or "over the hill drivers" or "who cares" ......

Yep, I've made the full cylinder circle; started off driving a 4 cylinder > in-line 6 > V-8 > V-6 > back to a 4 cylinder ....

humfrz - haven fun!

DANG ..... @chrisl ..... thanks for jogging my memory ....

Yes, I did drive a V-10 and a V-12, but I didn't own them.

The V-10, was in my nephew's Dodge Viper - that was a scary car!

The V-12 was in an old "barn" car my friend found. It was a 1936 Pierce-Arrow. We trucked it back to his fathers shop and had a heck of a time getting it started ...... till we discovvered it had TWO magnetos ..... daaaa .... one for each bank.

Oh yes, I also forgot my first "build" with a one lung washing machine engine.

humfrz ......
