Youngest BRZ/FRS Owners?

I'm 16 and I have had my BRZ since December. I pay for it myself and pay for all my gas. Just wondering who else has one around my age?

How exactly do you manage to pay for it yourself? And how are you going to pay for it when you get into college?

LOL. I didn't read where he said he was going to go to college. ;)

To the OP, good on you. You can be the youngest and I can be the oldest.

When i was 16 i was riding the bus morning and afternoon. This was 6 years ago, times must be changing.

Shit, I was doing that less than a year ago :bonk:

23 for the record.

Bought mine when I was 22. Bought the entire thing, but had a 16 month Co-op during college. Saved every buck that time to pick it up last year.

I wish I was as young as you OP.
But at the same time I'm glad I'm not (insurance must be insane for you.)

shawnperolis 05-24-2013 07:03 PM

I'm 22, full time software engineer. Although I could pay for it when I was only part time, this car is pretty cheap. I am still wondering how the OP can afford it at 16 though. Good on you, kid.

When I was 16 I bought a beater 96 Hyundai Elantra that I dubbed the 'lawlantra.' That was a great little car. hahaha paid for it with my Wal-Mart cart pusher paychecks.

supramkivtt2jz 05-24-2013 07:06 PM

Roughly the same here. 23 and have not relied on mommy and daddy since i was 18. I wish I could afford something like this at 16.

Kosmos 05-24-2013 07:24 PM

my monthly insurance with good student discount is at 150ish a month.

and some little shit in my town has a brand new Lambo and he is like 16. although im pretty sure his rich dad paid for it..
