Your CC issue is most likely not related and coincidental.

You might want to provide a little more detail like if you you have a manual or automatic transmission.
I've had this issue with a couple manuals that I've owned over the years.
As I recall the first time it was the switch on the clutch that failed and another was the switch on the brake pedal. Both replaced under warranty.

I've put it in the ticket that I already oppened. I've told John 2 times already it didn't worked and he have not answer already...

I don't want to go to the dealer. With all my mods, they will cancel my garantee. I would have to returned fully stock and even there, they could see that i've put a tune in my ECU i'm pretty sure. It was working before I plugged the Ecutek on my car, so John can certainly do something for that. He can certainly make it work again, I hope.

The car is doing a more raspier sound now... Don't know if it's normal. The engine feels slugish for the moment but I know it's pretty normal.

As others have suggested, flash back to stock, if it still doesn't work then take it to the dealer. If it works on the factory ROM, but not on your updated tune, submit a ticket to Visconti and wait for a reply. That's all you can do right now.

If the clutch switch was broken, the car should not start ?

I have a manual transmission, my car have 5000 km (3106 miles), it's a premium.

I've heard that those switch could broke, but were are they? lol

I would like to have the electrical shematics so I cant find it myself. But before to try anythings, I want to be sure that John cannnot do anything for me, wich it would surprised me.

It's stop working right after I plugged the Ecutek to produced the Romdump. So Is it possible that it was ''disable'' there? I've tried getting stock but it didn't change anything, the cruise doesn't worked.

Like I said I will wait for John to answer before to do anything...

To test that can you start the car in neutral without the clutch in?

Will try that tomorrow. Good idea ! Thanks!

The switch he's referring to is under your dash, just above the clutch. It's responsible for showing the gear indicator and allowing cruise control.

Personally, I would just avoid using cruise control for the time being and wait for John to get back to you about your issues. He has a TON of stuff on his plate right now, so you'll just have to be patient. Plenty of people on this forum have been waiting weeks for his latest tune, flex fuel kits, vortech kits, etc. It may take some time, but he'll take care of you, just be patient.

You are certainly right and I totaly understand. But I would like to know if there was somebody who had the same issue.

The problem is not just that the cruise doesn't worked, the green light don't even come on when I pressed the on/off button, so this is why I think the problem come from the ECU and that it is not siwtches...

Everything is working good on my car exept for cruise control... That's weird.

If you're looking for people who have had a similar issue, I'd start a new thread in the Technical Topics section. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=72

Noo! I've unmounted the airbag on the steering wheel like 3 weeks ago so I can do some wrapping on the silver trim, after that the cruise was working.

He did not worked anymore by the time i've produced the dumpfiles.

Just started a thread in the technical section.

It is important to have as much detail here as possible.
Granted, EcuTek RR maps can be controlled via the CC stalk, but no reply from Visconti to verify it could be related. Certainly the first I've heard if it is.
There is more revealing information below which leads me to believe this is conincidental. It just happened to manifest itself or it was noticed at the time the ROM dump was performed.
Who knows, maybe that operation caused the problem?

I suggest you revisit your recent mods surrounding the steering wheel.

You may have to adjust the position of your clutch switch if you have adjusted your clutch pedal height. I know I had to do this after adjusting the height.

What's the status on this? The advice given in the thread is good advice but I didn't see a post from you to verify if you did try flashing back to stock to check and see if that alleviated the problem. Keep us posted!

Send a message via AIM to Visconti
I would actually try using the dtc tool to clear codes first
