While I myself am not the sucker and went with T-Mobile where I get the phone for $150 and get the option to pay the rest off in payments without interest. I also don't have to sign a contract binding me to a cellphone company. I too have an unlimited plan so I will ignore whatever point you were trying to make with that.

As for the "non-existent online players". I pre-ordered my Xbox One "Day One Edition" The day they announced it. I got the last of 12 that Microsoft released to that store. How many PS4's were available and up for grabs? 18..

Xbox may have more users now... it won't have that many when xbox one releases... and it isn't even backwards compatible. so that "Huge" online base is going to drop considerably.

Also... you got a pre-order of one of 12 Xbox... wow... that's a lot of xboxes...

You're misconstruing my words. If you prefer to play multiplayer, the X1 will be able to cater more to you. If you just enjoy the campaign and other things, then the PS4 and Xbox 360 will be great. It's a matter of preference as to what you spend most of your time doing while on a console. I myself enjoy multiplayer. I'm the dude that would go to a midnight release, get the game and go home and get straight into a multiplayer match. I can go for months without even touching the campaign part because I just prefer playing other people. PREFERENCE is key

I do that too... I've yet to play Black ops campaign and have almost all the guns in Diamond camo

Still the xbox is a waste of money when all it's pushing is DRM, having to have connection all the time, and that waste of a kinect... It's pushing the whole TV thing... which is pointless

Whether you agree that those features are worthwhile or not, they're certainly there.

Both have big social media features, both have game DVRs, both have streaming music, movies, and shows, both have smart phone/tablet integration, both will have a wide variety of excellent games. The only real feature unique to PS4 is remote play, but if you don't have a Vita, its useless. The Move is kind of a joke and is also an extra purchase add-on, not something bundled with (probably bringing the price at or above that of XBO).

Then you'll be happy not buying one. I love the controller, the online service, the accessibility, the continued use of my current account, the integration with my TV, the ability to control my cable box, the fact I can control everything with voice and hand commands, the ability to quickly switch or multitask with games, apps, and TV. It's really a great package. And when you get over the fact that most people buying this have probably had steady 24/7 internet for the past decade, it's an excellent buy. If all you want is a box that plays games, the PS4 will be excellent at that. I love the fact that XBO will be an entertainment center that happens to also play a boat load of excellent games with an excellent controller on the console world's best online network.

Also, if I ever did need internet, my rooted RAZR MAXX also has no issues serving as a wifi hotspot for my Nexus 7 tablet using its grandfathered unlimited 4G data plan, so an XBOX ONE should be no sweat. Maybe those advocating for Sony are Apple people?

I work in Cyber Security and Data Security. I have monitored MS OS's for cyber attacks all my career. Sorry, all the breaches I've tracked taints me from believing anything MS says about the Kinect not leaking your information and having it listening 24/7 unless I manually turn it off otherwise. That's gimmick to me and a security vulnerability from where I come from.

So, the answer to your question is No. I have a cable box for TV. The idea of watching tv while playing a game doesn't appeal to me either. Sony has cloud as well, pretty sure that's been mentioned over and over.

You need to go back and read the policy if you think you are going to use a single disc for 4 player co-op. It's restricted to 1 person on at the same time as you, I.E. 1 to 1 co-op, not team based.

There is no option to NOT buy the Kinect with the Xbox, so the feeling is reversed when it comes to the Move not included and the Kinect included.
