Either that or they have come to realize that REAL gatherings are far less interesting, the girls are far less hot, less techno music and not everyone has hydraulics and neon lights under their cars. So if the real world is so uninteresting to an outsider, why not make it look like the hottest act in town?

You're right. Gotta sell, sell, sell.. right?

Good thing I'm done with school, because my marketing teacher would reiterate the book at me again.

You may want to re-read his question before trying to "interpret" what he's asking for.

He specifically said;
"please fill me in on some of the slang used in this car culture..."

not "forum culture".

Yeah but its pretty obvious he hasnt been on a car forum though, i know when i first joined a car forum that was one of the first things i needed to figure out over "slang" words

Okay, I'll play. When people talk about LSD they are not talking about the drug.. It is limited slip differential..

I actually found that acronym pretty intuitve. I had never seen it before coming here and when i saw it first time I was like, "Oh, that must mean Unequal Length header." Given the context.

I didn't see it in proper context, as it wasn't in a discussion of headers/exhaust/anything of the sort otherwise it would've helped.
