twins is probably the only slang we use that doesn't exist in other car communities.

when someone refers to the twins they are referring to the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ (Because they look very similar and are essentially the same car).

Just watch the Fast and Furious series, and then be sure not to say anything that they use in those movies.

All I really read here is Hella Flush, which Some of us think is hella gay.

Which is actually wrong because they are triplets. The poor GT 86 is the redheaded step-child just because it is not offered in NA. But then everyone wants theirs to look like that bad boy of the family!

Crickets: The noise you will hear after about 500 miles.

Blown: What will happen to your engine if you shift faster than .6 seconds near redline.

Just use regular english and normal terms for everything and you will come off perfectly normal. The more you try to use slang terms the more you sound like you're trying too hard.

I'm inclined to believe it's the FR-S that's the redheaded step-child, considering it doesn't exist in every other country of the world. Also because Scion doesn't exist beyond just being a label.

its normal English. If you find yourself having a conversation with someone and you honestly can't understand the terminology then they probably drive a Honda Civic. In this case traded theirs in for fr-s.

Here's a couple slang words you should know about this car...

Tofu/rice/soy sauce/sushi/ Saki = drift drift drift drift drift :burnrubber:

naikaidriver 06-12-2013 03:38 PM

Play any of the Need for Speed video games or Forza Horizon and simply repeat the dialog.

They'll have you saying things like "tyte!, whip, yo! and dawg!" like a pro in no time!

(because that's how EVERY car enthusiast talks)
