Hi, couple questions:
Firstly, at the moment I'm looking at purchasing the kit through Perrin but I am wondering if Vortech have any suppliers in Australia that I could get it through instead as shipping is a killer? Secondly, how many people are running the 13 psi pulley reliably? For starters I only run my car on 98 octane fuel as its readily available here so that would increase the reliability straight away over only running 91-93 correct? Just wondering if what the general opinion is on how much boost these engines can run reliably on 98 octane fuel? Much appreciated

BUT.. I would go with an aftermarket tuner unless you planned on keeping the stock exhaust. In fact I would recommend an aftermarket tuner in general, Vortech's tunes are 100% safe and reliable but leave plenty of power on the table. If you are getting a headerback and looking at headers for more power, it seems like a no brainer to get a tune to unlock that power.

This is of course unless you already purchased from vortech direct. The price is nearly identical between most of the vendors/tuners and they all use the same ecu system, just a different rom file.

@SillySaxon Also headers+tune is the primary tool to completely eliminate the torque dip. It cannot be understated how big of a difference in driving pleasure that made, even after I already had the supercharger installed which reduced the dip a lot.

Nameless has been working on a EL header for a while now that I am pretty excited about, but I am not expecting them to release it for a while yet. Search around the Engine section, there are a ton of threads about headers with video clips. Just remember, nothing beats listening to it in person!

Nameless... i was so excited for that. They were updating all the time etc and them BOOM gone. I hope they actually release it. The fact that none of their staff will post anything and only members are saying "i heard that its coming soon!" scares me. It was looking pretty good on early dynos! I was going to do that + e85 originally but eventually gave up and said FUCK it and went with a supercharger (that never showed up... LOL). Maybe by the time my credit card company finishes my dispute it will release!
