Most of the models on Google 3D warehouse need a large amount of work before they can be printed. Something that looks good often doesn't translate well into a solid object.

Not sure I am on the same track, Are you saying something to replace the radio or something to replace the area around the radio?

I was thinking about doing the area around the radio and adding a mount for a phone. Or maybe even a camera mount.

The area around the radio, so that a standard width 2DIN radio fit without a "filler" piece. Basically replace that entire piece of the dash with a new piece that had the right size opening in it but looked OEM rather than like "filler".

The stock radio is 2DIN tall but its wider so you have to use a filler with a "off the shelf" replacement.

Oh ideas ideas... how big can we go here? +1 gauge pod, visconti tuned, filler spot SOMETHING, shark fin alternative, camera mount of sorts, sunglass/ or phone holder, cup holder filler for the doors.

Perhaps a replacement panel somewheres with a way to mount a holster for those of us who went straight to guns. Personalized plates for tuners a great idea. Oh oh a something that can cover the scion emblem on the steering wheel if removed. Im aware of air bag dangers and willing to take that risk... FOG LIGHT SURROUNDS? Intake?

100 percent on this. It should be no different than the emblem on there safety wise. I was thinking either blank or the 86 logo.

Yeah it'd be realllyyy nice. I feel like with the 3d scanner a little plastic circular 86 emblem with the back contoured to fit flush would be awesoommmeee

Wow $600? Damn that is awesome! I have been researching this and this is going to be the hot thing.

I would use it to prototype smaller parts or pieces for the car you think are missing or can be used as part of a turbo kit etc, as our needs pop up on the forum and then if people like the product perhaps put into mass production via carbon fiber etc. At least you got the mold done in a sense.
