New 3D laser scanner and printer what to make?
 

Just got a new 3D laser scanner a few days ago and our first 3D printer comes in today.

Its got a 10x10x8 in build area. I can build in PLA or ABS.
I was thinking about making a pack for the square thing between the seats that has nothing on it and looks totally out of place.
Or maybe a custom badge on the front or back?
What do you think any good ideas?

Shifter knob
Organizer for the armrest
Badges
Trunk storage hooks
Replacement Dash panels. Radio surround and the passenger airbag cover.

Or according to the news, you can build a gun....

Make a 3-D version of the rear emblem - FR-S. Make it have a stand and thicker letters than the emblem - something someone might want to have on their desk. I could be interested in buying something like that depending on how it turned out, the material and the price.

I was actually working on making this. Here is a render of what I have so far. I plan to print one out this weekend ;)

Make some sort of emblem or personal emblem for that center blank spot right below the shifter. I remember the gt 86 has some plate there and the frs has a big blank square there

That looks nice. May I make a couple suggestions? Make the dash mark supports much thinner so that the dash mark itself looks like it's floating in space (I know that's not possible but I hope you get what I mean). Make the letters thicker.

I was thinking the same thing. We could most likely remove them altogether (thought it would make the part a little less rigid). That model is just based on the emblem on the back.

Definitely up for suggestions :)

door cupholder reducer.. big gulp to standard bottle sizes...
gauge pod to mount oil pressure and boost gauges over analog mph needle.
sunglasses storage compartment (clips to headliner)
new obd2 mount (existing plug is in terrible location above accellerator pedal)

This is another item I would be interested in seeing. Design it so that it would clip onto or slip under the interior light unit.

this. make something that fits in there nice that has the 86 logo.
