I thought it was more of a 86 meet then a "car show"

That's not it either. You'll never guess what it is so as I said before you'll have to wait until Friday night and see.

Haha I have even less than that. But I understand the need to have a show component because that's what draws out some of the more modded cars to participate, and encourages people to do more to their cars in preparation for the meet. Part of the vicious circle of mods.

But like you I would like to have a section where "mild" cars can be parked and not have to park for instance away from the show area with the general population (meaning non-86/BRZs etc). If there is just FT86 area parking for everyone apart from general pop then I will be happy.

Deal. And if we see anyone else doing it, same should apply for them. As for the auto-x.....it's on like donkey kong

I believe it should be set up like a few events I've been to.. Everyone parks in the same place.. The ones competing In. The car show have a number displayed for the judges and everyone else.. Otherwise, what's the point in driving all the way down to park in the garage..

I'm sure it will be set up nicely though seems like a lot of thought and effort is being put Into this event

so do you guys know where exactly you will be parking at Fletcher Jones Toyota/Scion? I hope they gave you the roof top parking lot, that is the only spot I could think of that would be fun for a show (hot but fun).

Last I heard its the dirt lot.. But not 100% sure anymore.. Also I haven't been by there in awhile, but wonder if they finished with all the construction on the roads.. The was just one lane and its always packed with traffic..

You have a good point... no offense, but I don't think, everyone will have a chance to see ALL the car that attend to this event. We're talking bout near &/or over 70 cars & not all of them will be coming at the same time. Some may come early, some may come later. Do you expect every car will be seen & judged & count all the ppl came to vote for the car & do the cruise & get photos taken & raffle drawings & go through all the vendor booth & have a nice chat w other owners?

I'm not against your idea. Give me more detail depth way to do this. If you think, my idea isn't good idea. I'm totally okay w it, just looking at the rough outline of the Saturday schedule & thought of an idea, I'll listen & try to make it.

Of course, that was to everyone, not just you. Saturday cruise is to have nice time, not to have adrenaline kicking in doing illegal racing on the street.

Don't worry, I'm not leaving any members/owners on the corner... & I'm thinking of something for those mild tuning owners a chance too (still thinking, just give me time).

I didn't mean any offense if I gave that impression.. I haven't seen how things are being set up yet as far as Saturday.. Right now all I know is I'm going to be ere around 9 lol.. I've been to a couple car shows, and those shows would have a certian era or make and all of them parked in the same area.. The ones that were competing in the car show had these bright yellow cards and a number.. The judges walked through and judged the cars with numbers.. Plain and simple the cars that were there during judging hours got judge.. Ones that showed up late or left early didn't.. BUT those were all day events.. This s isn't so I don't see how it would work.. I just want to make sure or hoping that everyone in a 86 is parked together.. That's all..
