Congrats! Mine is coming up on June 28th. 26,700 kms and 7.0/100km as of five minutes ago. I made it almost a year without my tail lights suffering from fishbowlitis...my car goes in next week for a new right tail light and gasket.

I'm still planning on driving up if the weather co-operates. The forcast is getting better. This morning it was calling for 80% chance of rain here and 1-3mm, now it says 40% and less than 1mm...fingers crossed. I spoke to Mr Hot Lava on Monday, and weather permitting, he will be coming as well.

I thought so as well, but I wasn't shocked when it did...I've been expecting it.

Calabogie Vids
Some track videos are up! I posted them in the Calabogie thread here also http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...517#post984517.
Here are a few vids from the last MCO Lapping School on May 25th. It was a crazy cold day (was actually snowing when we arrived at 7:00am). Temps started at 2-3 deg C and gradually warmed up to 11C by end of day. Wet sessions until lunch when it finally dried for the afternoon. Total of 5 FR-S/BRZ at the track that day! 10:00am A rather cold (4C/39F) and still wet session, spent some time getting used to the new tires, Conti Extreme Contact DW, very impressed with the wet grip. Some fun chasing the STi for a bit and getting past some others. [ame]http://youtu.be/Dtj3gJ58rA0[/ame] 1:00pm Finally dry for the first afternoon run and warmed up a tad to 8C. Lots of traffic and fun catching up to some packs of cars. First lap clear and then I catch some traffic. Checkout the flame-throwing Miata with super-tall wing at 12:15. Radical storms by at 13:15. Fun keeping pace with the GTi toward the end. [ame]http://youtu.be/PfEB9083LPM[/ame] 3:15pm Much warmer now finally, but still only 11C. Much quicker laps. Clear laps until 7:57, then S2000, Vette and finally catching Mike in his blue Miata. [ame]http://youtu.be/rvVlsem9OX8[/ame] 4:30pm Relatively quiet last session of the day, at 8:00 I drive through the pits since Civic wasn't letting the 911 ahead of me by. At 12:00 waive past the Lotus and keep pace with him. Thought it would be tough to match the cornering, but I am able to catch him in the corners but he just flies away on the straights. A little bobble at the end of the last lap, back end tries to come around, oops! [ame]http://youtu.be/IkVPJvWTNSA[/ame] Last edited by Slick; 06-04-2014 at 10:40 AM. |

Anyone want a slightly damaged JDP carbon fiber front lip?
Someone handy with fibreglass could patch it up and paint it. My new one should arrive in NY next week Cracked the bumper in a couple places I think it is a goner too

Spotted a white BRZ with green rally-style wheels on Fallowfield heading west near Woodroffe at 6:40pm yesterday. Who has green wheels??

hey everyone just as a heads up the autocross season is about to get started and id figured i would let everyone know about it.
If you don't know what autocross is its pretty much the cheapest and safest way to drive your car up to its limits. If you have any desire for driving fast or racing i would highly recommend it to everyone. pretty much you are racing in a parking lot and being timed through a course of cones. It happens every couple weeks throughout the summer and the first one is on the 16th. It usually takes place at scotiabank place. here is a link for more info and to register if your up for it. http://www.mco.org/phpbb/viewtopic.p...127702#p127702 a video of a past events in ottawa http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/6684/mvi0049h.mp4 and a video from picton airfield last weekend [ame]http://youtu.be/k99WgdugG1M[/ame] hopefully some of you can make it out it will be fun to compete against other frs'!
