Data logging with AEM failsafe boost/afr gauge. I've seen it go pretty rich, 10 flat for a brief moment. Usually 12-15.

First impressions:
FUN. Not as fast as I was expecting from the reviews I've seen, but I'm happy. I was expecting it to feel faster on the butt dyno than my WRX, and it just doesn't. Probably just the massive torque difference.
The car is damn loud under boost. Seriously, it's pretty obnoxious. Lots of supporting mods left to install.

For those with FBM - is everyone going with Vistoni for tuning? I'd like to get the AFRs a bit more in spec.
I can't see the pics at work, but I can't wait to see them when I get home. Glad to see I am not the only one who hates the loudness of an open dump. I went with the recirculated dump from FBM, and I haven't regretted it once. I am sure LJ can hook you up with another downpipe if you can't take the sound. Just remember that the less boost you run the more open the wastegate has to be to maintain boost.

Running in the 10s for AFR on the Full Blown basemap does not surprise me. It really is only a basemap. Are you running off the wastegate at around 7-8 psi? The Full Blown basemap is generally good to 10 psi, and I can tell you the car felt a LOT faster at 10 psi.

I wouldn't say everyone with the FBM kit has gone with Visconti for tuning. He based his FBM map off my car and we did 6 hours of street tuning. I am running 14 psi on his map. TypeR worked with LJ through E-tuning and put down some real nice numbers. I am planning to give FA20Club a shot at dyno tuning my car later this year as well.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth the hassle of swapping out the downpipe now. I'll probably hit up LJ for some e-tuning. The shop that installed my kit does tune for BRZ/Ecutek but they just haven't done any tuning for the FBM kit so I haven't been able to decide who I trust most to keep it safe.

Love your 14 psi, bet that's lots of fun

At idle, refresh rate doesn't like the camera so it's cutting off the digital gauge on every shot (iphone cam)

Close up

I'll probably switch to digital AFR with sweeping boost to see how that looks. Compared to the cheapo prosport gauges on my WRX this is pretty nice. Much easier for logging!

I don't find that I need the decimal point accuracy of AFR in the middle of the gauge. I would rather see exactly what boost level I am hitting while glancing at the color of the AFR to make sure it is right. I have the LEDs for safe boost set to green so as long as I glance and see green, I know I am good to go.

What range did you define as safe? Did you find a way for it not to show red when you let off the gas? I just see a reading of 18 which isn't very helpful.

It's fairly awesome that it's so easy to configure this gauge.

It will always read 18 or red when you let off the throttle. 18:1 is as much as the gauge reads and that is perfectly normal when you let off the throttle. My range is something like this:

Red 8:1 to 10:1
Yellow 10:1 to 11:1
Green 11:1 to 13:1
Yellow 13:1 to 14.5:1
Red 14.5:1 to 18:1

Good and bad. The RCE Tarmac2s came in today. Waiting on the top hats to come in.

CEL...P0420 cat efficiency. This seems to be normal

I wonder if there will be a software fix for this? On my WRX I can disable a code in the map and flash it back to the car in minutes...if only it was that well cracked.

I cleared it for now but wouldn't he need an unlocked map to disable it permanently?

EDIT: I do need to bring it back for the AFTER dyno run. The before run was pretty dismal on the dynapack.

yeah you can clear it out even with a code scanner but it will come back.

the code can be permanently disable within euctek

I never got any CELs while on the Full Blown basemap with no cats installed, so I wouldn't call it normal. It might be that you are running so rich.
