Il take a look again haha i didnt notice but thanks! I was gonna do that but havnt found good size zip ties. Yeah i dont really like too many home improvement projects either lol but this one is pretty useful. After a week ish i noticed it collecting little tiny rocks, leaves, and bugs that could of been inside dirtying up engine components. Where did you get your zip ties?

Hope to see it at the WBM this weekend. Don't worry I'll try to contain myself from not drooling once I see how awesome your BRZ turned out.

Sure. They are just regular old nylon zip ties- I got mine at pepboys cus I was picking up other stuff there...but I'm pretty sure you can get them at regular old target or walmart or home depot...or Amazon (like [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Black-Nylon-Cable-Locking-2-5mm/dp/B000RB2DRA/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1370570364&sr= 1-2&keywords=nylon+zip+tie"]these[/ame])

You can see the ties before they were trimmed...

And here you can see the ties under the horizontal things

You're sucking in unmetered air, that's going to mess with how your engine will run. If be surprised if you don't throw a code.

That's exactly what I was thinking. The meter is 'upstream'.

Be surprised then! It runs great after 600 miles. Besides custom ecu tuning optimizes whatever airflow is at.

Well, much as i know, the mass air is not the only thing used to tune engine optimal power, and reliability. My vr4 run speed density, and there is completely no MAF.
