Haha umm...I usually don't like "home improvement projects" on my car but I made an exception here... I used black nylon cable zip ties UNDER the horizontal pieces through the mesh. I trimmed off the excess. That way you can't see the attachment point unless you are level or looking from under the grill - which really is only if you are working on the car. (In the photo on my original post...you can actually see one of the zip ties on the closest attachment point cus I took the photo level with the grill mesh)

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out
