That new F3 800 is sex, but I just don't find it attractive; that headlight is just FUGLY. Your run of the mill R6 is so much better looking.

Speaking if ugly headlights though, the new CBR front end is horrendous. I spotted it at the dealer and thought it was missing parts. Sent from my Nexus 4

If he likes naked then a Brutale 675 might be a good choice. I've just heard that MV Agusta repairs/maintenance/work/parts are generally hard to come by. |

Id love to go the MV route but servicing and all dealership related topics would be a PITA as the closest dealership is several hours away.

I have had my Streetfighter 1098 for about 1000 miles now, best bike for me to date. I don't know what you are looking for, but imo if it is something they race in world superbike, it probably doesn't have that much character.

I've thought about everything 848/1098/1198. The problem with the bigger Ducs is that they use dry clutches. I don't really have to spend $200 on clutch plates every couple of times i go to the drags.

The last time I decided I wanted a new bike it was down to the Duc Streetfighter or the much cheaper Kawi Z1000.

I dont know how hard you are on your clutch, but the dry clutch was a selling point for me personally. I haven't read about low reliability with them though.

With dry clutches you just need to make sure you are not half clutching so often. I love the clacking!
