Dude, eat a snickers.

Or just go grind your ax somewhere else so that you aren't shitting all over this thread. It hasn't even been a week. Anyone buying into John's tune should be well aware that the waits can be long, every existing customer knows this and will readily tell potential customers the same. John has always put emergencies to the very top of the list. If your tune goes wrong, he'll fix it as fast as humanly possible. If you car is running fine though, you go in the queue of both people & work, and he gets to you when his 14-18 hour work days allow.

Wonderful, chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and nougat. Look im not here to argue with anyone about this. I am going to offer my recommendation, especially when there are other options out there.

Thanks to calum. I made my search for tuners, but the waiting time was not in the review I saw... I will be patient now that I know it's everyone who's waiting...

I didn't want to say anything wrong about him. I was just asking if it was normal...

We are not the only platform he is working with, check out his Facebook page. It would be nice if the 86 was his only bread and butter, but not so. I just hope he spend equal time on each platform.

I bought my tune last month and it was a very quick turn around (within 24 hours).

Your current delay is most likely that a new version is coming any time now and he doesn't want to send u an old one.

I'm happy with the update just trying to get everything ready and correct.. Having a lot of customers is only half the problem.. Tune has to be updated for auto/manual and I support several different regions.

And I'm trying to get these flex fuel kits in the mail!

Anyone having any fuel cutout issues? I submitted a trouble ticket regarding this but haven't heard anything back...

I am running E85 and yesterday I was running through the gears coming off a stop light. I was in first gear and punched it after I was already going about 5MPH. It climbed nicely through first and I shifted into second. I mash the gas and .. nothing. It's like there was zero fuel getting to the motor. A complete cutout. I let off the gas pedal and the power comes back. Very odd. I didn't squeal the wheels or see a TC light (TC was off anyways).

In any case, was curious if anyone else was having similar issues. I haven't been able to replicate the issue so, perhaps it was a gremlin.

Not saying it's that but I doubt it. I'm planning on opening up the fuel pump enclosure again this weekend to check for debris.

Please let us know if you find any debris? I've been on e85 since October (minus a couple weeks in December because of cold start issues before John released a fix for it). Do you think it helps to cycle a couple tanks of pump gas every now and then? Also when you switch back and forth between e85/pump do you flash the car at the gas station or wait a few miles after to let the remaining fuel cycle through. My laptop battery sucks so I would feel more comfortable flashing the car at home so i can have it plugged in. It would be nice to have a pump gas map on like map 4 on the e85 tune as a temporary map to run on when switching back to pump gas and then flash the car to the pump gas tune when you get back home.

Can't speak for others but I definitely flash at the pump. Picked up a cheap laptop that I keep in the car specifically for flashing/logging. I cycle back to pump gas every 5 or 6 tanks of E85. I don't know whether it helps or hurts but I had read that a number of people were doing this to flush the lines and I figured it wouldn't hurt.

I'll keep you guys posted on the debris.
