That better be one sturdy mount :O

I'd be scared as hell to run my phone on that haha.

They're about the only ones for that sort of thing in the NW.

Unless you know you have a reliable shop within a reasonale distance, you should probably steer away from MV.
They look tits, but waiting for parts can be frustrating.
Would maybe make a good looking second bike, but not for a primary.
well said, go Italian if you want to look at it. Get a Yamaha if you want to ride.

I've had Ducati's for years. nice but just too much Drama.

Ha ha sounds like you need to live a little!

I basically did a hybrid of a couple of different bicycle mounts and used the spare parts to make a bicycle mount for my bicycle as well. I will need to check on the brands I used, but here is how it looks under the phone:

This is a very tight rock solid mount set up though. It barely has the clearance needed to slide the phone in and out of the case while it is on the bars if needed as well. If not, that is a spring loaded screw that anchors the case. You can unscrew it and slide the case off of the mount. The angle I have it mounted at basically puts the top edge of the phone at the bottom edge of the cluster, so you don't have any overlap or gaps.

If there is enough interest I will probably just have some made specifically for the bikes and resell, but I hadn't really thought of that before now.

I love it! I traded in my 2009 Monster 1100s for the 2012 Diavel. This thing is definitely high tech with the twin screens, keyless, on the fly map changing, ABS, Traction control, etc ...

Definitely much more comfy position than my monster and feels more stable

Looking for a new bike...your thoughts please...

Currently i own an 07 Triumph Daytona 675. I bought it new in the summer of 07. It now has 15,xxx miles on it and still runs great. Part of the fun of owning a vehicle is modifying it to my liking, which i've done just about all i can.(Full exhaust/filter/tune. Carbon/powder coat everywhere. Bars/grips/levers reservoirs. Lightweight chain/sprockets. Titanium nuts and bolts on everything thats easily accessible. The list goes on)

The problem is, I always like to have a "next mod" all planned out and it has come to carbon fiber wheels($3500) or opening up the block and doing valves and race goodies, which i don't have the knowledge to do and don't want to spend the money to have someone do it for me.

Side note: my insurance now is $350/year through progressive.

So i'm considering looking for a new(2010+) bike and here are my criteria:
-Must be less then $15,000
-Insurance must be less then $1,000/year(25 year old, no points, single)
-Must have character
-Must be a sportbike/naked
-Must be able to be drag raced(no dry clutches)

The bike list i've put together so far:
-2013 Triumph Daytona 675R(although i'm not a fan of the new headlight)
-2008+ Triumph Speed Triple
-Ducati 848
-Ducati 848 streetfighter

I'm just asking for constructive input on these or any other bike that might meet my criteria.

I love the 848 Streetfighter. What about the CB1000R?

Not sure about reliability, but have you looked at the MV Augusta F3 675 or the new 800 (not out yet). The 800 is a seriously fast bike. ~380lbs and 148hp.
